Haldiram's Habshi Halwa

Curiously named 'Habshi Halwa' because of its colour. This grainy sweet is quite a winter favourite in north India. “It is kaala (black) just like a habshi, referring to a colloquial term for dark-skinned."

A rich, dark and luxurious Habshi Halwa sweet is made with wheat and pure butter ghee (clarified butter) flavoured with dry fruits like almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios.
