Sona Masoori Rice
Sona Masoori is medium-grain rice that is lightweight and aromatic. This type of rice is a variety of white rice, mostly produced in Southern states in India. Sona Masoori rice can be in a wide variety of sweet and savoury dishes like biryanis, idli and Pongal.
Note: Soak Sona Masoori rice in water for ten minutes before cooking to bring out the aroma, and ensure softer final produce.
